Stuart has lived in Maidstone for the last 7 years and and has lived in Mid Kent for most of his life. He is 40 years old, a qualified nurse and is married to Dawn, together they have a daughter Poppy. Stuart currently works as a manager in the NHS. He has held deep seated green principles throughout his adult life, starting when he joined CND at the age of 15. Keen to champion ethical living whenever and where ever possible, Stuart is the chair of the local Fair Trade Steering Committee and belongs to a number of ethical and green organisations, and chairs Sustainable Maidstone - a community group delivering green initiatives across Maidstone.
Stuart has stood in Borough and County Council elections for Maidstone and is currently the Green Party's prospective parliamentary candidate / parliamentary spokesperson for Maidstone and the Weald. He stood for the Green Party in the local elections in Fant Ward in Maidstone.
