2019 Local Elections

We had our best results ever in 2019 - a huge thank you to everyone who supported us this year!

Across Maidstone we received a higher vote than Labour and came second in three wards (North Ward, Marden and Yalding, and Sutton Valence) giving us plenty of opportunity to win seats in next year's local elections.

Our platform will continue to be one of environmental and social justice. Over the coming year we will continue to put forward our radical set of goals for a Green Council including real action on air pollution that currently kills around 130 people in Maidstone each year. Plus we will continue our fight against the ideologically driven austerity and against the building of executive homes on farm land around the town, calling instead for affordable homes close to public transport and jobs.
